64 Impala SS 409 ID

Just bought a 64 Impala SS this past weekend and I'm trying to tell if it is a true 409 car. The badges are on the front fenders but the car now has a 327. The car is a 4 speed with console and I can't find a build sheet. is there any way to tell if the car is a true 409 car? The fan shroud is 6 inches wide but I don't know if that is right for a 409 or not.
