a number of 4 door hardtops were brought into Australia from Canada, main years were from 59 through 69/70,
mostly auto's, the 62 above is typical, the ratio of 4 door hardtops to 4 door sedans was something like 50 to 1, others may know the actual ratio.
A number of these 4 door hardtops were privately imported, ie I nearly bought a 61 Sport Sedan 40 years ago that was assembled in France.

This is what the original color of my 62 was. Although I do like the color, I decided to paint it a 1981 Pontiac Dark Jadestone Metallic.
This color is close to the Dark Green Poly that was a optional color in 1963.

I took my driver's test in a '64 poly green? (The darker green) Impala wagon. It was memorable because the door locks would freeze up in the winter when it was really cold like 10 -15 degrees, and when you went around a turn, a door would suddenly pop open.
