I don't know about you guys but this is getting scarier by the moment.

She did not exactly issue a call for four more years, but while Senator Bernie Sanders was calling for a political revolution, Mrs. Clinton, more than any other candidate, embraced Mr. Obama and his politics.
Mr. Sanders offered her a crucial assist on two fronts in forestalling a threat from Mr. Biden.

Mr. Sanders’s unsteady response to her surprisingly tough attacks on guns – the one issue on which she is safely able to outflank him from the left – gave Mrs. Clinton an opportunity to solidify her support among the nonwhite Democrats Mr. Biden would need to defeat her. Polls show that some of the strongest supporters of gun control are African-Americans and Hispanics.

I cant imagine why these folks would be leading the charge for more gun control. Oh yeah, because they already have enough guns and now would like to see the average citizen lose theirs or at the minimum make it much harder to get one. Unarmed prey is much easier to bag.....

You hit the nail on the head,
People with illegal guns dont mind gun control as they are not caught up in it

We have gun control over here in New Zealand, it goes like this

You have to be approved by the police, back ground check, any serious assault or violence or drug convictions then dont even bother.
You and your immediate family get interviewed by a police/ psychology type person and everyone living at your address has to be interviewed as well
You have to do a gun safety course which is run by a civilian organisation which really is a good thing and if every one followed this course no one would be shot or killed accidentally
Your gun safe is inspected for security

your firearms licence is a photo ID card so if you want to buy a rifle or ammo you have to produce the licence
Licence is renewed every 10 years

We can hunt mammals all year round all the time. no limit, tag system etc
Deer, chamois, Thar, goats, pigs, wallaby, possums, rabbits, hare, ferrets, stoats and weasels no limits on any of these animals
Fowl are seasonal just like fishing and require a licence for the season and there are bag limits

We have laws on what you can own as far as particular firearms
Handguns only for competition shooting with endorsement on your licence
Collectors can have anything they like but not able to shoot them with out specific permits
Military Style Semi Automatics are a special permit and can be used (detailed as anything that can hold more than 17 rounds or looks like it can hold more than 17 rounds) dont know where they dreamed that one up

We have a pretty free range with hunting over here, ask the property owner or ask for a part of the national park (department of conservation approved areas) to hunt in, no problems

Still have nutters shoot people that fall through the cracks same as you guys have over there, only find out afterwards that they were on a police watch list but that is too late to stop them afterwards
