went to doctors today after a week of feeling crappy,, infection is back another shot of some hotrod steroid/antibiotic another 10 day round of oral antibiotic and another surgery coming soon.. this is f#%&ing bullshit. trying to see another ENT soon as possible starting to think my doctor is not playing his A game.
Damn...hope you start getting better soon, but just remember, them friggin doctors are just practicing.....

Exactly. That's why they call it "practicing" medicine.
It seems to be less the doctors that are bad and more the health industry/insurance companies.Not sure which I hate more, doctors, lawyers or politicians.

well not exactly, I have had the infection return once again and the fissure in my mouth is draining again. went to the doctor that has been trying to help me on last Monday. he now wants to do a mega antrostomy on my right side maxillary sinus. this is a pretty invasive surgery with a lot of bone removal, ,,not very happy too hear that. had a appointment with a different doctor later the same day [the same doctor that rebuilt my face after the auto accident] and he seemed to concur that the surgery is necessary. now I have to make up my mind on who will perform the surgery.
went to camp this weeked with the boys for our annual spring work weekend and did not have a very good time dealing with this , I think going up 2000' in altitude does something funny to my sinuses.

damn, good luck. ive been dealing with respertory problems, been in the ER twice( one by ambulance in a snowstorm, didn't think I was gonna make it). the ENT and everyone I have seen sucks, and the first thing is "how are you gonna be paying". thankfully my wife has decent health insurance, but still costs us. like you said, white, working American. we get screwed. best of luck to you. im dealing with a allergist now, since the ENT cant help me
finally had the right side mega antrostomy on last thursaday 10-15-15. doctors did a modification to my left side sinuses, my noggin is now fully ported,,,ill tell you later if im any faster.. removed the septal button the last asshat doctor put in there and found some pieces of wire in there from the original MVA repair. everything went well except for my breathing stoppped twice when i was under and again twice before i woke up after surgery, have to see some specialist for that now. no hot nurses to report, but my underpants were missing? wierd.
hopefully i feel good this week and i can swap out my transmission for the new m-23.
