Here is the TRW forged blower piston number that I used. Had 118cc combustion chambers with .042 copper head gaskets and my block was O-ringed. I ran about 12% overdrive and had a hoot until I hit about 7400 rpm. Had a 7500 limiter chip... what I didn’t know is when we done the initial start up a friend of mine was squirting fuel in the injector to pick up from the tank and the plate for the pump was on incorrectly due to bad instruction from Enderle. Which caused him to hydraulic rods one and two. It ran for a long time and ran really good until one day it had a good load on it at 7400 and it made a nasty crunched noise.
and this was the result. I should’ve known when it killed one and two cylinders and I had to put new plugs in it that it could’ve bent the rods but I was too excited and Ran with it the way it was. After I change the plugs it fired right up and the videos that I posted of it was with bent rods in it that my superman vision wasn’t working and couldn’t see. Lesson learned. Don’t let somebody else squirt fuel in your carburetors on start up and if it kills the plugs you better go through it..
this number is for .030 454.... 8.1. W/118cc heads
