There's no picture of him here, but maybe someone here knows if this is the same guy. If not, he had the same appreciation of speed and high performance.

Frank Sanders

Frank did fly bi planes, I know this because Dick Harrell was a close friend of Franks and flew with him a couple times. I believe Frank was killed in an airplane crash many years ago.

Frank was killed in a T-33 jet trainer that he'd been flying at airshows, in the late 1980s or early 1990s.

I liked what he did in creating Dreadnought; aeronautic equivalent to swapping a big block for a small block in a Chevelle.
