Master Cylinder Question

Ordered a master cylinder rebuild kit for my 1959 Impala with standard brakes. Took master cylinder off today but when comparing to the shop manual it seems slightly different. In the manual there is an "end plug" that screws into the end of the cylinder. Mine does not have this. It only has the brake line connector. The case says Moraine and 1" diameter on it and has casting #5458337. Is this original equip for my car? Place I bought it from seems to think it is. I'll find out if the rebuild kit will work when I get around to taking the thing apart.
Thanks, Eric

I pickup a rebuild kit for my 60 Elcamino, worked like a charm, I replaced the rubber parts and used the remainder of the original parts. used the copressor with my bleeder kit on all four wheels and I have better breaks then I did before. Not driving it right now just need to be able to move it in and out of the garage once in a while so we could do maintenance on our other vehicles.
