I'm thinking that is the plan for now. Maybe fix a few spots bang some dents do a little sanding and shoot some satin clear on it.Gonna leave the "patina" Clint???
My first vehicle I built with my dad in the back yard was a 66 truck.
Outstanding! I'm looking forward to comparing notes as we go along. I have pretty modest expectations for mine (after all, it's a farm truck)
That’s my favorite year of truck. My first vehicle I bought was a 65 gmc. I sold it to my dad and he is in the process of acquiring parts to fix it up. She was ugly but a fun truck
I didn't really pay any attention to the engine that is in it. I would imagine that it is a 250? But I'm not sure. What's it running for a power plant 292 6 banger?
I was not a fan of the wrap around windshield either.I had a 62 GMC with the V6 and a 4 speed, great work truck but I hated that rap around windshield. Lost count on how many times I banged my knee into that.
Yep 67.A 65 250Hp 3 on the tree was the first new pickup my Dad bought. I bought it from him when he traded with 90+ thousand on it and overhauled the motor and ran it some more.
Crap, thought this was about 65 year. When did body style change 67?
A buddy of mine got the short bed trailer recently when he bought a house and he has no use for it. So lucky me!!Sweeeeeeeet!!! Where’d you find the shortbed did you have it already?
Thanks. I got damn lucky on the bed.I just made a deal on a 63 C-10 LB , Allways wanted this year era and shes pretty straight (pic's comming next week). These years of trucks have really taken off in $$ around here,GOOD DEAL on the bed
Have no fear!!!! Just dive in head first! It's just metal so if you mess up you can always weld it back together.Clint, you have a lot more courage than I do!
