Did anyone race at Norwalk with the new BWR aluminum heads?

If so, how did they perform?

Bob was there with some heads and castings and Allen, (Bluescreamer) also had a set with him, but the only set on an engine were on my 55. The traction wasn't very good so I ran low elevens. Actually, 10.99 was my best run. My best run to date has been a 10.64. Over all my car is close to 1/2 second quicker than last year but some of the improvement is due to the extra lift on the new cam.

Sounds and looks from the awesome stories and photos that Norwalk was really something else. :clap

I'm only an amateur at drag racing and I am just starting to realise how difficult it can be to run consistently from track to track (especially with a stick shift). There are so many different factors to take into account and consider!!!!!!

Would you agree that consistency will eventually arrive after a lot of experience in the seat??

With 1/2 a second off your ET from last season it sounds like the combination of the cam upgrade and Bob's new heads was the right way to go. :beerbang
