Thanks in advance for your patience - I haven't been into the old car scene in 20 years.

Silly Question #6 - would rally wheels from a 1980 CVhevy truck (5 lug) fit my '61 Bel Air?

No.
The bolt pattern for the trucks is larger.
Your belair is 5 lug on 4-3/4 inch bolt pattern.

look for rally wheels off of almost any rear wheel drive GM car 1967 on up ie: monte carlo, nova, camaro, cutlass, skylark, chevelle, etc.......... or S-10 pickup.

SOT,
Look for mid 80's Caprice, Lesabre, Catalina, Impala Sedans, NOT wagons, NOT Oldsmobile or Caddi's or Chevy police cars as they have the larger bolt pattern. These are 15x6 and 15x7. 15x7's can be found on the cars with the optional wire wheel center bolt hubcaps, they fit great and you can use your original dog bowls.

Thanks, guys - looking for 15x8 wheels of some "stockish" look, to use with 65 or 60 series (if I can find some 60s with whitewalls) to help the handling. I'm used to driving Hondas, you see . . . . actually, I had a '60 Bel Air with front/rear sway bars and 15x7 stock wheels, 70 series tires, in the 1980s. Seemed to do OK.
