I'm trying to install the horn bar on the 62 BelAir... Should be very simple, you'd think, but it's kicking my behind. I have a horn rebuild kit and all the parts. When I try to install the horn bar it points to 2 and 8 instead of 3 and 9, if that makes sense ??? The only holes that line up with the holes in the steering wheel put the bar at the wrong position. I know there must be something I'm doing wrong but I can't figure it out. Anyone who can help with this ? I appreciate your guidance...
I took the horn apart way back when the car was dissassembled for the rebuilt so I've forgotten a lot since then, not only about the horn.
