If you run the Box/No Box classes, you only race to 1,000 foot due to the short shutdown area there I assume. The street classes race the full 1,320. I'm not sure what our class would end up running. There are some quick/fast cars in the group that they might not want to run the 1,320 since it seems like the ET break is 11.50 for the street class (Bracket 3). Otherwise Bracket 1 is the same thing as Box (electronics) and Bracket 2 is No Box (no electronic aids).
I don't know what kind of car counts they get but 8 hours to run 2 time trials seems like an awful lot. Maybe we could come up collectively as a group and make time runs together during the day. We could run a race with qualifying determined by best reaction time or how close you can get to your dial in time trials or just randomly pair people up? Maybe that could be at the 4pm part as part the show. Just run off eliminations with the rest of the classes to the end. We can race for fun and no money. Although, if we get in free we could all chip in 50 bucks a car per eliminations even at the current 14 cars coming you could pay 400 to win 200 to R/U and 50 to each semi. Or we can collectively enter the respective bracket classes and go for the big money!
Or we can just run a full exhibition only show and show off what these engines and cars can do! I'm okay with whatever, just throwing out suggestions/ideas.
I'm happy to come meet all you guys and see cars that I only have read about or seen in pictures. I'd like to make at least 3 or 4 runs down the track but I think with as early as the schedule starts and as late as the day goes that wouldn't be a problem to do!
