Did some steering updates. Put some universal joints in the steering shaft so I don't get crushed by the steering wheel in the event there is an accident. A side bonus is I can remake one of the header tubes for a better transition out of the head now that I have more room. Also thanks to tips from fourspeed409, I have gotten rid of the bumpsteer. The toe change per side over 2.5" inches of travel is .005 as measured at the outer edges of the rotors. Safer and faster!

Did you take off the whole body Dan, or just the front clip?

Just the inner fenders. Hell the body isn't removeable anymore. At least not without a cutting torch.

Thanks to MRHP, I got this new pan to play with. I added 3" to the sump and oxy/acetylene welded it. I have had mixed results gas welding before but this time it turned out pretty good. Adding a kick out is next.

Thanks. Back on page 28 there is a picture with car launching and you can see how far it hangs below the cross member. That is the old pan but, this has the same depth, just two inches longer.
