I bought me a slip roller and a tubing Bender just for forming the metal tubing, Square Tubing that is. I'm going to need some lower patch repair panels too. Several places to get them though. I think I have the equipment to makethem now after spending1,800.00 ....Are you planning to replace the wood with steel tube? I need to do that with my 33 project and have found very little examples of how others have done it.
I see that you (Michelangelo) are from Missouri. Whereabouts?
I remember when we used to go to St Louis which is now Gateway and watch the pro mods and the top Sportsman with blown injected alcohol motors with a stock wheelbase vega's, now that was a handful and fantastic to watch. Got any pics of your old cars? I don't know if you know Norm Wilding but he had a promod and a funny car and used to race NHRA. He has a shop in Columbia and is building bikes now.Grew up in MO & went to school @ MU after the military. Presently living in GA. I love MO but I actually moved to the SE because I wanted to race (seriously). Ran Pro Mods out of my own pocket for 20+ years. Actually almost broke even for a year or two of it. LOL
I'm a motorhead - and have always thought the 348/409/427 "W" engines are just neat as heck & truly unique.
So did you and Rodger ever hook up so you could get your hundredth anniversary Harley title deposit check that you made out 10 years before they made the bike back?Me too!!!!! Can't wait to meet Tooth....I have this visual of......oh, never mind!!!!!
