1. Impeachment is NOT removal from office. It is an accusation. Only after the Senate holds a trial and finds a President guilty, can he be removed from office. He may remain in office, if so found. Clinton was impeached, found guilty, but not removed.
2. The House can pass articles of impeachment, over the objections of the House Republicans, and refer the process to the Senate for trial.
3. The Senate will conduct a trial. Republicans will, unanimously, along with some Democrats, not vote to convict the President. The impeachment process ends at that point, PERIOD. No redoes.
4. During the trial, the President's attorney(ies) will have the right to subpoena and question ANYONE THEY WANT. This is very different from a special counsel investigation, which can be very one-sided. During the impeachment trial the likes of James Comey, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Bruce Ohr, Glenn Simpson, Donna Brazille, Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, Christopher Steele, Hillary Clinton, John Brennan, James Clapper just to name a few. Even ex-Presidents are not exempt. The shit will hit the Democratic fan, a lot of truth will be uncovered and the Democrats will turn on each other, to save their own skin.
5. The Senate is controlled by Republicans and they will determine what testimony will be allowed. Believe me, everything will be allowed, including:
a. DNC collusion with the Clinton campaign to try to fix her election.
b. Creation of the Trump dossier, using false information.
c. Cover up and destruction of emails and Governmental papers.
d. Lying to FISA court.
e. Spying and wiretapping of the Trump Campaign.
f. Colluding with Foreign political people, especially George Soros, who will be subpoenaed.
6. The Senate will decline to convict/remove the President. Trump will win re-election.
7. There will be a backlash vs the Democrats for hypocrisy, dishonesty, inaction and blind tunnel vision for using every devious avenue trying to discredit Trump.
8. The Democrats will spend the next four years bitching and complaining that the impeachment was rigged. Pelosi knows; that's why she is against it.
