I used to do a few of them when I was working in a service station back in the '60's. They scared the S*** out of me 'cuz I had seen the dents in the ceiling over the changing machine and knew what caused them.Did a few of them myself. Yes they're dangerous, but if you don't pay close attention they'll kill you.
I worked at Bach's Mobil Station in Austin when in HS and we would let the car lift down on the tires with split rims. worked great.
