    The Block# is a for a 64 - 65 car, but Head# is a truck casting. So it is a 409 car engine, I though because of the Head#'s it was a truck engine. Still looking for a good suggestion on a selling price on this engine.

    TomK, thanks .. It sounds like $2000 is a good asking price. Is a truck engine worth less then one out of a car? If so, how much difference?

    I am wondering the value of a complete 409 Chevrolet engine, block casting #3857656, Cyl. head casting #3819333, Block stamping on front right pad # T0527 OD. Engine was running [with video] before removal from truck.
