    58 Impala Sport Coupe Question

    It rises up out of the rear seat cushion, must be on a scissor type mechanism. It's up and I don't see any release lever or anything. Looks like the arm rest may have been recovered, may be that hid something. I'll try to post a picture.

    The 58 Sport coupe I recently purchased has an arm rest in the rear seat. It is "up", does it fold down smooth with the seat bottom? Doesn't seem to want to move and I won't force it. Can't see any mechanism looking around and through gaps in the upholstery. Someone please educate me!
