I just recently did all eight on a 656 block that was already .060 over and didn't sonic very well. We used Darton sleeves and stepped the bottoms of the cylinders. It was a long and *boring* process to say the least. It'll be standard bore with a 4" stroke at some point.

Summit shows quantity 2 (two) in stock of the 60815 heads with the hydraulic roller spring package. I bought the previous two and NOBODY else seems to have any in stock. Yes, Edelbrock told me "April/May" as well, but that could be April 2022 with such a big move and setup happening...

The only three titles left in print are Hot Rod, Motor Trend and Four Wheeler. And probably not for long.

Pertronix III in stock distributor in my 409 stroker w/ rev limiter, no issues in 5 years. Had a Pertronix I in a previous engine for ten years prior to that, never an issue. Have a Pertronix II in my 500 c.i. Cad for 10-12 years and never had an issue. Good products.

Can you (or anyone else) shed a little more light on what happened to the cam? IIRC, it had an extremely small base circle. Thank you.

I basically did the same thing with the Ford adapter kit and now have no leaks. On the Ford kit, the "speed nut" or "PAL nut" is junk and will loosen up. I made my own and used some loctite:

Right on. Carters are pressure sensitive for sure. Never tried the heavy-duty needle and seats... might have to.

If it indeed has 8psi of pressure, you may have trouble holding that back with a stock needle and seat without a regulator. The pump I listed checks in at 5.5psi and work greats without.
