Update on the rocker molding installation. I decided it was a little bit above my talent level so I took it to restoration shop that originally did my car. He agreed that the clips supplied were junk. He decided to drill holes in the moldings and mount them with stainless steel screws and...
Thanks for looking, I think I have it figured out. I have attached the instruction sheet that came with and a picture of the clips. I think the metal clip with the nut would go near the back wheel where you can drill through and fasten, The sheet metal screw would go near the front wheel...
I just purchase and received a set of stainless steel rocker molding for my 1960 Chevy Impala. They came with a bag of parts with very little instructions for installations. Has anyone installed a set of these? Are there any tricks to install?
Below is a note on the installation instructions about the needle location. This should clear up any questions.
Note:
This tachometer has an air core meter. The
tach pointer may not always rest at zero. This

What is the largest file that can be posted? I have written a story on my 60 Impala and would like to post it. I made it a PDF and the size is 887KB, when I try to post it I get an error message. I there a way I can post it?
I eventually gave up on the Unisteer rack & pinion, just couldn't solve the bump steer issue. Went with a 500 steering box with the conventional steering system, works great. The only problem I had was an interference with the steering box and the power steering pump pulley. Made a smaller...
