    Thanks for the welcome. In the short term I have a 283 and TH350 that I'll install in the next few weeks simply to put around in. Long term, I have all the parts for a 4-speed swap (including T-10); I'd also like to source a 409 however I don't know how realistic that is.

    Hi, I'm new the board with a 1962 Belair 2dr Sedan. I bought it as a roller, so the short term plans are to refresh the suspension, brakes and steering components followed by swapping in a motor and transmission. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions. Thanks in advance. - Jerry
