I bought a 402 bbc block and it needed to be bored so first I looked for some pistons and found some stock bore 427 corvette 425hp TRW's in good condition...I purchased them and had the block bored out to stock 427 bore...I looked for a good forged crank and the "older" guys said...

    I am a die hard chevy fan and have had lots of chevys from 283's to 454's and I have had good luck finding the stamped codes and deciphering them but today I tried so hard to find out what my newly aquired 348 had for a stamp...I kind of wonder if it has been changed as the location is real odd...
