Anyone bought repop 61-62 hubcaps? Just wondering about quality & how well they look compared to an original. Originals are made of brass I believe and aren't magnetic. Are the Repops made of steel or brass like GM did.

What is the stamped part number on a 1962 voltage regulator for a 409. This would be for an assembly line install. These regulators used a rubber attaching grommet on the lower hole instead of a screw. They were also used on some 348's as well. They are a 35 amp...I believe the stamped number is...

What Edelbrock carbs can be used in place of dual Carter's on a stock 409 manifold. Also what happens with the idle mixture screws on front carb. Do the carbs need rejetting to work?

We installed 2 sets of yucon gears in a chevy 12 bolt and could not get them to quit wineing. they sounded like some old woman. we put a used set of GM gears in and wine was gone.

The big block looks cool that way. Nothing wrong with that. Waldens aluminum 409 IS a big block chevy with 09 heads. I dont see anyone complaining about that engine !!!!

A couple years ago in Hemmings muscle mag, we saw the 62 impala fawn with white top 409-409 with 3 on the tree !!!
