The pulley you see under the AC pump is part of the belt tensioner assembly. Its no different then what keep the belts tight on the majority of cars on the road today.

    Window Run Channel

Hi guys, I'm building several 61-62 Chevy wagons and would like to know if you have any tips for installing the window run channels. I'm at the point where I'm ready to install the glass and this is one of the tasks I don't look forward to doing. I have done a few in these wagons before but...

That pretty much sums it up. These are both mine, equally nice cars, both for sale but I don't expect as much out of the stocker as I do the custom car.

1962 Bubbletop old school look not valuable

Hydraulic suspensions on ebay are like Kryptonite to Superman, good luck getting anyone to bid on your car. This car has an air suspension not unlike many EXPENSIVE LUXURY cars and SUVs made today. I don't know that these items would make YOUR car worth 40k more but if your car is equally as...

1962 Bubbletop old school look not valuable

Not really......this black 62 that you consider "bling bling" car was once mine 7 years ago and has changed hands 4 times that I know of and each owner kept investing in the car to personalize it to their taste. I don't know that there was a 100k invested in the car by the current owner, but...

    Fun with Scammers

I was getting so tired of deleting emails from Nigerian scammers that I decided to take them up on their offers of buying my stuff and sending me a little something extra to send back to their shipping agent. Everyone of these checks came next day air via Fed Ex, DHL, UPS or USPS. Figure $20-30...

    409 Tunnel ram

Anyone ever see one of these before? My friend has it along with a ALGON fuel injection that have been stored for a bunch of years. I'm not sure if the tunnel ram is something someone has fabbed up from a stock dual four intake or not. Anyone have any insight to its value. thanks in advance. Boris

Billet Specialties Tru Trac 348 409

Billet Specialties will be developing a Tru-trac pulley and accessory mounting bracketry for the 348 409 engine. I got a call today from the owner for whom we are building a 59 impala with a 348. He asked me to yank the 348 and put a 454 in its place so he can use the 348 to develop this Tru...

    59 Street Machine

I can assure you its not the bodywork, hats off to Carl Beckett in Salem Ohio who's shop did the paint work on this car. The owner of the car recently sold it to start another project. The car was finished in 2004 and saw quite a bit of use. Steve, the owner never hesitated to drive the car...
