Little progress today, cam in time.
I did take the valves out of the head, knowing it had seats installed, I figured I would blend the seat into the port. May not make much difference in this truck but every little bit should help.
When you talked about having Tooth help lift the head it reminded me of a guy in Cedar Falls that had been doing magic on heads for years. I stopped by his shop last summer and it was full of pulling tractor heads. Looks like heavy work. They call this guy Radar.... really is Roger Lectenburg. Wheel man for a fuel altered at the track.
I'm sure when the boss gets back in town he'll make me work on it.
I felt like this truck project needed to get done first or at least get to the point that the customer will need to bring new money as old money is gone.
