Brian, That's the best looking core I've every seen. I agree it is extremely low milage especially if you have not cleaned the ring grooves. The grooves always have carbon buildup and those look clean. Congrats on the find.

Nice! Looks as clean as a truck block I took apart two years ago. I think it had about 20,000 miles on it.

Congrats on the 068 build. My QB 068 engine wasn't quite as good as it was already .030 over. And it needed two sleeves due to pitting. That's why it's at Day Automotive as we speak :).

Good luck on that rebuild, we know it will look good and run better!

It looks like a set of plugs and an oil change was all it would have needed.
