I guess I will never own one. The closest I got to buying a new one was in 1966. I was looking at local Chevy dealer at one and brought home some lititure and my mother saw it and told me if I bought that I could not park that ugly thing in the garage. Lol . So I went to another dealer out of town and test drove one down a brick main Street and it had more squeaks and rattles than the car I then had ,a 64 ss Impala. As I was driving it I look over a see a single right seat and thought to myself, this won't work as a lot of times I had more than one buddy riding with me . Still single I decided against it. I could not afford a Vette and another extra car so that was the end of that. I always liked the 63 split window the best.
