31 Chevy 3w coupe project

I'm not sure if this is right or not but I thought I would share some build pics of my 31 Chevy. It will have a 348 tri power in it at some time. (Probably in the next few months) but until then I thought I would share some build pics with you.
The frame is almost done now and the tri power is just about done also.

31 Chevy

Thanks for the kind words guys. I hope it's done this spring or early summer. Some good friends of mine and I have been working on this car for a year and collecting parts since July 2009. The collecting parts for me (motor, seats, roof, rims, tires, headlights, carbs, intake, rear end, steering wheel, etc.etc.etc.) seems like it took alot longer. I can't wait to drive it!!

Wow, the metal work looks great!!! Did you replace all the wood structure? That motor will make all that old body creak and groan. Keep it going, its great. Maybe we will see you in DesMoines this summer?

Yep, it's all steel now. If there's a cruise going on some weekend or something cool like that down there let me know. I want to put some miles on her. It's about 4 hours from here to there and it would be a fun little road trip!

Hey Wally, Sheet metal looks good... I did a 34' Chev coupe 3-widow standard back in 91'- 92'. I filled the top with a Vega top and 3" chop. Now I kind of like the stock fabric top. Neat cars. Keep up the progress pics....

Here's the first pictures of the motor going in the hot rod. There's alot of work yet but I had to see what the engine looked like in the car. Now that everything fits (some slight ajustments may be needed) The body can get painted. (Gloss Black)
