Those tilt lower shafts are are to find I will look tomorrow to see if I have a standard lower and I'm close to you.
4 speed Column Help

No, he needs a 21 1/4 inch non tilt. He has a tilt now ,too short.
Sorry I don't have an extra lower shaft the extra one I thought I had is the steering column shaft itself
Finally solved the problem by adding another length of shaft to make the total length
to 21-1/4 " long. Everything went together just like BUTTER. As I now have check my
Bel Air lower shaft it is 21-1/4 " long. I have an extra lower shaft out of the Impala SS
car I bought and am wondering if some how things got mixed up in rebuilding the
4 steering columns, 2-62's 2-63s. Thanks again for all the help. Its easy. to get parts mixed
up, especially when they look so much alike, and you don't know they make 2 different kinds. Live and learn, and boy we did both on this journey.

I just don't think I would trust the two shafts that have been cut and rewelded!!! Feel a lot better with different uncut shafts.
Your definetly right about that, I tired to get my buddy to wait until we found the right
length shaft, ? but its like trying to talk to your wife about her weight....
