4 Wheel Scale Results

I had my car 4 wheel scaled today and I thought that some would like to know the results. My car is a 63’ Impala – full interior (bench) – SBC – TH350 – radio delete – no air – manual brakes and steering. Trunk was empty and had 8 gal of gas in the tank. Seat was all the way back. Looks like the car is fairly balanced as it is. Which for a teeter totter balance is great but not for a car that you are trying to make 60’ better. Also tells me that I need to cut back on adult beverage consumption. I have not yet dove into the calculations in my chassis book but will start sometime over the holiday.

From the numbers below, does anything stick out to you guys that would help my lower the 60’ times.

Tom, better 60 ft times = 409stroker and 10 in slicks. :roll :roll 3,535 empty , I'm a little surprised. I wouldve guessed 3,700. Well done.

Thats lighter than I thought also. Mine is 3920 w/me in it. Also I would say a little heavier on the driver side is not a bad thing. I dont see anything that really sticks out, but Im not a chassis man either. Loose a little nose weght. or maybee some drag springs and shocks. Loose the front sway bar. higher stall converter. All will help without hurting drivability to much. Could always do a small shot of spray:deal . That will always help out the 60'.:brow
