True.......the more camshaft you try to run the deeper the valve reliefs have to be.....and there goes your compression.
I would be very interested to hear if anyone has CC'd a Z11 to find out the true compression. They were rated at 13.5:1 from the factory. Of course they didn't have that big of a cam (compared to modern race roller profiles). The stock Z11 pistons that I've seen pictured looked like there was still room for more dome. ???
