Time to revive this thread. Update on the 55, it has rat power now. 460 cubes. Nothing too trick. 11.23 @ 120 up here. No bottle. Can't wait to take it to sea level. Been a lot of fun this year but time to get back to W engines. Miss driving my X frame Chevy.

Ignore the rat nest on the inner fender. That's fixed now.

Dang Grub that brings back some good memories. Man what a beater. Lol. That weekend was legendary. How the heck was that 8 years ago already.

Thanks Neil :good

Keith thanks for the words but I'm a sissy. Bog launches, line lock on the dash etc. Afraid to break it cuz it's my ride home. If you're gonna go rounds you gotta have a two step and no mercy. I get beat first or second round every race but it's still fun as hell. Out early means drankin' beer with your buddies early so it's a win win. You need to put that G-force in something!!

Kevin, I can't believe it either, Michael and myself had a ball and met some great people, we did some miles, drove out from SF to Great Bend, then up to Lincoln Nebraska, over to Mt Rushmore, down to Salt Lake City via Casper, then to Les Vegas, over to Bakersfield then to Eagle Field, Turlock swap meet and then back to SF. Epic couple of weeks.
And that double Nickel looks and sounds great. :pepper:bacon

Hey Neil, your 40's coming along, is your sister still living down the road from my joint.
