That's before they put the metro rail in right down the middle of Main Street. Killed the Main St. Businesses downtown. It went a few miles. Another city planning idiocy. The Football stadium is out in Orchard Park, a suburb about 15 miles from Downtown. It was built as an open air stadium about 50 years ago. It has been upgraded a couple of times with taxpayer dollars. -Oh Orchard Park is in the lake effect snow belt where in a storm, snow is measured in feet not inches.Even though that stadium still looks good, Buffalo had to have a new stadium. You would think that if you are going to build a new stadium, across the street from the existing one, it would be a domed stadium. But no, even though a home game had to be moved to Detroit last year, and even though some December and January games have had to be literally shoveled out - stands by hand, they are going to build another open stadium - with over a billion dollars of taxpayer money for the billionaire owner. Up north here, our F'n brains have been frozen solid. Some folks say that it gives the Bills an advantage because the opponents will have to play in the bitter snowy cold. Ahh, the Bills have to too you frozen brained numbskulls.
