Well here I go!!! I was informed by Ralph Dehne Wednesday evening that my "Buddy" Steve Zeiter 's 62 White Lightning was for sale. I tried to buy this car several years ago when he first brought it home. He said he had plans to make it a Pro Street "Street" car. He built a 348/437 motor for it. Unfortunately he ran into a cluster of bad health issues. H focused on the 65Nova for his Bucket list. He did make it to Norwalk last year but his health was stumbling. He couldn't get the car done... I was contacted by Adam his son and Mindy his wife and made an offer on the car rolling mode. All it needs is a Bullet and transmission... It once had a 331 SBC blown injected alcohol motor with zoomies. James saw it a the meltdown drags and said iwas the loudest SOB!!! It is a ladder bar using some of the X frame. I'm honored that they gave me the first chance... I couldn't pass it up, Steve sent me many text and pics of it poking me in the eye... "IN A FRIEND KIND OF WAY" Well here's some pics. Many more to come. I still have the Belair Sport Coupe Bubble Top and the 68 Chevy ll Nova. 20230610_090752.jpg20230610_160753.jpg20230610_162703.jpg20230610_162708.jpg20230610_124148.jpg20230610_090800.jpg20230610_090816.jpg20230610_090827.jpg

Very nice! what were the times of this car ?
Not sure, it had a blown injected SBC in it. I have been looking for videos. I’m going to try to contact the builder. James saw it run at the meltdown drags years ago. James said it was “one loud sob’… :D It had zoomed on it.

Right on Tooth, really liked this car from the first time Steve (RIP sir) posted pics of it. I like how they cut the X out of it and put square tube from A to B, looks like whoever did it knew what they were doing :good

@La Hot Rods do you remember what it ran, et/mph?

Looks like a plug (a 409 in) and play deal!!
