Progress has been S-L-O-W, but there has been some.
The cobble body shop that messed with this car caused me a bunch of work, rework.
This is a low budget drag car so I'm doing things ways I normally don't or wouldn't, but I keep reminding myself to keep it simple stupid!
Quarters about ready for primer.
Decklid is blocked in 320, will block out quarters and shoot them in base coat with hardener which should just about match the old lacquer that has been scuffed with 320.Picked up a used Impala fender for the passenger side,as the original wasn't worth saving, brace was gone, skin rotten, rottten in front lip, plus all the warpage where the body shop clowns welded all the trim holes shut with the welder set on KILL!
Going to let it look as though it's an old barn find drag car with some primer spots here and there.
Going to letter it up, apply some vintage racing decals here and there, and go have some fun.
