Don't know how I missed this thread, but what a car.

I was always the kid who had to sit facing forward in station wagons, but I would gladly ride in the "way back" seat for a cruise in this car!

Between the color, interior, engine, wheels, you really did a top notch job.

Hats off to you.

60 degree Saturday mornings are great for a cruise ! Cooler morning and initial timing advance backed down to 12 eliminated most of my hot restart issues. Ideling in the driveway after returning, I let the temp rise from 180 to 190, then after shut down it continued to 200, it did start at that temp with hesitation, but at 14 initial advance it wouldn't start until temp was below 170.

Going on a longer cruise tomorrow afternoon to a friend's shop for some brake tweaks and fix the parking brake so I can get inspected. Once that is done, I have been holding out for the V8 and 409 emblems as the last thing on my build punch list.
