June 1967, I'm not even 21 yet............still working as apprentice mechanic at a GM dealership.....
My 63 tan/tan Coupe (didn't call them split window yet) in back ground with tri lights I installed.
Wow, Mr. Cool or what...............c'mon I'm only 20 years old here........

Second pic 11 June 67 at Harewood Acres in Jarvis, Ontario at an abandoned airport with the Corvette Club of Ontario......
Won second place that day.... Keystone Mags from Riverside Calif when buddy and I drove route 66 the previous
September. Radiused wheel wells and 65 Corvette 396 hood courtesy of a body man at my dealership for me doing
brakes and a tune up on his 63 327 Impala.......

Those are some cool pictures BJ especially the selfie!!!! Two years later i was 18 and had a 63 convert. 340 horse 327 with a 427 stinger hood.

This was my first car when i was 15! Had a 301 in it with three on the tree. Ran real good! Dad caught wind that i was street racing it so before i got put in jail or killed myself he enticed me into tradeing for a 64 SS Chevelle vert. with a 283 2 barrel, powerglide and a reverb. The girls did like it better. Dad got me on that one.
