Is there much of a difference between the factory dual quad intake vs. the Edelbrock RPM large port intakes? Similar HP and torque numbers, greater or not worth changing over the factory intake?

I believe the numbers show that the Edelbrock is worth approximately 20- 30 hp over the original, If you use the search engine there are multiple threads you can read through…….My original post was edited from 30 to 20 to 30

I believe the Edelbrock is better, I don't know how much better. Very hard intake to find unless you know of one or have one.
There is one on ebay.

I have both and I heard the single 4 was much better than the factory intake. I wasn't aware the 2x4 was that much better too!
Many amazing things were designed by the slide rule like the 881 but the Edelbrock wasn't designed in the early 60's with one.
Aubrey Bruneau used to be a member here he is no longer but he did his own comparison with a small port four barrel intake manifold and also a four barrel large port intake manifold of his own design called the speed port 6000 or 7000 and he shows his numbers in comparison to the stock and the Edelbrock

Yes! I have watched that video numerous times. I always enjoy it.
I was told dyno results showed Edelbrock 18-20 better.
Is there any dyno info/testing of the Speed Port 7000 available?

Did you ever drag race one intake setup then the other with everything else the same?
I thought the Speed Port intakes maybe were not produced anymore, but his facebook looks to be updated to 10/24/21.

No, but I wish I had. I changed several things at the same time because I am lazy that way, some to the engine, some to the car.
As a result, I was a little faster but I didn't really learn much.
Eddy 2x4 was better than the GM.
