First small block engine

I was watching Power block on TV this morning and noticed next week they have an interview with the owner of the first small block chevy engine sitting on an engine stand.
I could be wrong but after a quick glance, it sure did look like it was Pat Lobb from this site.
Does anyone here know if I am correct.
Should be interesting.

Wouldn't surprise me after all I have seen his only FI 409!

Could be if it is the one Pat Lobb has.
I just got a quick look at it in a comecial for next weeks show.

Would love to know the history on that engine
Was it ever installed in a car or was it the first one off the engine assembly line and kept as a test subject
Was it the first test engine?
Can anyone record this episode or at least get a link to it that can be posted for us unfortunate ones on the dark side of the planet?
