Well my first Chevy and first car as well doesn't apply here but I'm sure Bob can appreciate as it was a '66 Chevelle that I had picked up for $500 in 1986 just before entering high school - love that car, still have it too! The following summer my cousin purchased a custom '59 ElCamino that was built in 1970 (red,flames, just beautiful!). I got the bug then. In 1988 I found a 348 in an rotting '58 Impala in an old muddy, tree filled wrecking yard $50. (Thought about putting it in the Chevelle for a while )A week later I had found a '60 ElCamino resting in a field that had once held a 409 but was stolen out of it many years before I got it. It was mine for only $35 - yes $35. Now I was obsessed. In 1989 found a '59 ElCamino with 43K original miles for $800 and drove that for a few years. Over time I have had a few others but still have all the above plus many extra parts and pieces. Back to the original question, here is a list of the good stuff:
