EASYRIDER Show

Just showed my bike in the Easyrider Show yesterday.

Didn`t win anything , but it was fun !!

Can`t compete with the store bought, high dollar, cookie cutter, mega-big tire, trailer queen bikes though !:cuss

My bike is a early seventies style chopper and thats not what is popular today.
Most of the bikes that attract attention at these shows are not very road worthy and are just eye candy.
I would love to see these mega-bikes try and take a couple hundred mile trip!!!:roll

Nothing special here, 61000 mi 95 Goldwing and my water buffalo. Been all over the country with the wing, as far west as Montana. Minis are a lot of fun on the back roads of Ohio. :stooges

Yep, it's a pretty cool bike. 1972 Suzuki GT 750. hasn't been started in 4 years. Points are corroded. One of my many projects.

Motorcycles with radiators ????

Kind of like Military Intelligence,,, don`t ya think????:roll

Mi??

DQ, I like the look of that bike much better than today's pseudo-choppers. I will try to get some pics of my FXLR posted. It is nowhere near show-worthy, just a comfortable rider that doesn't ride on a trailer.

I spent 3 years in MI (1968-1970) and we always felt compelled to point out the apparent contradiction in terms. You gotta laugh at yourself sometimes...but it was a serious business at the time.

In the end, we all felt that our job was to supply accurate and timely information so that we were in a better position than the other guys. If anyone was going to catch hell, we didn't want it to be the GIs.

Yup!

Any Chevy-powered Studey fans out there? This is a project I worked on that actually got more or less finished...it eventually got shipped to Texas somewhere. It is not a "W" but it had a decent SBC, a Chevy truck front clip, 700r4 etc. I am helping the same guy do a Lark/SBC with his teenage son now when I get tired of looking at my stuff (the Belair)
