63 814 early QB block, 690 heads,.040 oversized on bore to clean up.I told Tony Shaffer do what you have to do, basically street and strip,lightly ported heads and intake manifold,diamond pistons,double true roller timing chain, steel billet cam shaft from Comp Cams and solid rollers to match I don’t have the cam card specs Tony has it,hi performance milling oil pump,

Sweeeeeeet. Did you stroke it? I have a pair of 690’s that Tony ported and machined and they look great. Guy does nice work can’t wait to try em out.

Another small step to the puzzle completed, Alternator restored Correct for my engine build. This alternator used on non-AC cars.

Early Borg and Warner T-10 transmission aluminum case, tale shaft T10-7D 3813490 date code 8 15 62 August 15,1962 ,main case T10D-1 date code I think is F 19 62 June 19th 1962, shifter plate date code 7 19 62A July 19 1962 and I don’t know what the ( A ) stands for?

Tom....looks like a 327 retainer plate on the front of the trans. You will need the larger retainer for the 553 409 bellhousing.
Sorry, I don't remember the diameter. Can't remember if it's cast iron or aluminum. Someone here will know!!!!

L-L tag code designates close ratio first gear 2:20 to 1.

I have an extra 553 409 bell housing I can check how it fits, plus this is what I found on the Internet and I may have to remove the retainer to check what’s going on.
