Don't know about the full treatment!! First order of business is going to be pull the bed and shorten the frame. I have a short fleet side bed for it. Not going to get crasy with the body but I want it mechanically sound so I can drive it everyday.Outstanding! I'm looking forward to comparing notes as we go along. I have pretty modest expectations for mine (after all, it's a farm truck), but I am sure yours will get the full treatment!
Mine too! That’s my favorite year of truck. My first vehicle I bought was a 65 gmc. I sold it to my dad and he is in the process of acquiring parts to fix it up. She was ugly but a fun truck.View attachment 88330View attachment 88331
I have no doubt. That should keep you busy for a while!
I'm almost afraid to say.Looks like a good project, what are your plans for a engine to motivate it?
Why? As long as it isn't a Furd you'll be okay with most of us!I'm almost afraid to say.
Would never disgrace a good Chevy like that!! But it will be receiving an LS engine. Why? As long as it isn't a Furd you'll be okay with most of us!
Afraid so.Oh, no!!!
And it is in my budget.Power to reliability ratio is high....... and obviously there’s a lot of people who realize that........
