A business man in Lewistown bought an old service station that was about to be torn down and moved it inside his new hanger. Our local car club met there 3 months ago for a potluck dinner. Here is a magazine article about Jack's hanger.

Wow, I thought I was old!! I can remember Sunoco economy 190 for 27.9. Gas used to be a waste product. Can't waste much now. Great picture. Is the station still there? Bob

Remember the 260 ( 103 or 105 leaded octain don't remember ) in the 32.9 range. Same time frame. Ken

I think it is but it has been converted to a office and doesn't even look like an old station,,,

Someone is buying up old gas stations here in Foat Wuth and restoring them to their former glory. I've heard an Enco (Exxon) may in line for a similar treatment.

I,ve seen a really nice brick Standard oil station restored in Lafayette, In. The guy has a restored model A wrecker out front and keeps a few of his antique cars there. There's another in town that is a flower shop, but they didn't change the building much. Bob
