The current gov. makes a lot of money off alcohol related offenses, thats why they havent gone after it, even though the insurance companies would like them to. They also make a lot of money (quietley in their pockets) off legal pharmacuticals(sp?).
The gov. went after the tobacco because the insurance companies dont want to pay for smokers medical bills.

No I just found that picture on the net. Here is my old friend Shadow of 14 years. There wasn't a cardboard box he could resist!
funny story on that box thing, we had a long rectangular box that was thrown down the stairs, and no one and put it away. the opening of the box was sticking up on the stairs,and the cat being inquisitive as it was, wanted to check out the box. well two steps in, she couldn't stop and we heard the Fred Flintstone pitter patter, no meowing just a bunch of ruckus from down in the stairwell I went to check it out, and here the bottom of the box was still sealed shut.... the cat had slid down into the box pissed herself,face first against the box,she was freak'n out, I had to turn the box upside down to get her out.No Claws.Needless to say me and the wife were in tears
I got one too. I had a bunch of small parts in a plastic shopping bag to be listed on ebay. The cat being his nosy self was snooping/sniffing around my stuff and got his head through one of the handles. I never saw a cat run that fast! He was flying through the house trying to shake that bag off and parts were literally flown in every room! He really freaked out, I thought he was going to hit a wall and knock himself out! It was funny but also I felt bad as he really got scared. He never messed with my parts bags after that.
He was a character to say the least.
