I think some of the aftermarket posi units have more spiders and a better unit than cast iron.

Very nice work sir, did the same kind of explosion on my open rear (5000 rpm launches will do that i guess) I put a posi in mine and yes it has 4 spyders to take all that load. I have nothing near as powerful as you do so i would also sugest a 9 inch. I believe show cars has complete bolt in 9 inches, posi and any gear you want for $1299-$1499,so that my be your beast route. Dont know about your budget though.

You can still find 9" rears, they are plentiful. Build it with a Detroit locker you won't be disappointed.
