Torque convertor suggestion

Looking for suggestions on what convertor I should use-1962 c10 with a 348- isky mild cam -600 cfm carb-338 gears turbo 400-mostly around town cruise and highway-

I would call a couple of converter companies and talk to them. BE HONEST in your intentions with it. The wrong converter will make driving miserable.

My Torque Converter is my left foot.

Look for something in the 24-2500 range,it doesn't have to be overly expensive.Something like B and M,Huges,PATC will suit you fine.

For drag racing a 4500 converter would work best, but for the street 22-2400 will be the best choice. With a big C-10 truck make sure the one you get is tight on the top end and the more weight and tory you have the higher the stall speed will be.

any idea the diameter? it came with an 11 inch- am I better off going smaller? sorry for all the questions

At the rpm range that your engine will use,11 inch is fine.Which mild Isky are you using,the 262 Super cam? Please ask questions,we welcome them.

11 inch,22-2500 stall is all that you'll need or want.The power range on this cam will be in the 2000 to 6200 range.Which piston is in the engine now? Has the engine been run yet?

I think 10.5 on the pistons and yes its been run
