This is Norbs car.
The machine shop called this morning. 
They say!!!!!
The cylinder will not clean up.
We are going to have to regroup and go to plan C.

Rework a 409 crank get new rods and pistons... prep a block for said new rotating and then LOOK OUT

Yes Tom I got them on and goin to the track to try them out.
If you look real close down the street between the back of my Suburban and the sign on the left side you can see a white patch on the chip and seal dead end road.
That just happens to be a somewhat fresh patch of concert for the approach to the salt and cinder tepee.
Just to say it was a virgin.......
I will have to get some photos or maybe I shouldn't.
You can not imagine the different's in the sound.

Just got home.
Ran like crap first pass with a 12.90 so I tune and tested to a best of a 12.36.
Not my best but not my worst.
I need to find the sweet spot for this points dist or go to the dark side and install an electronic one.
I was kinda anxious on that one.
