The only things i believe Trump did wrong was tweeting stupid shit and hiring Fauci.

So any presidents decisions have no consequenses you contend. So why the hate toward Trumps policies?

Where did I state a President's decisions have no consequences? Presidential decisions can certainly have consequences, but it depends upon what the decision was and what it was in regards to.

I stated a President has little to no influence on the petroleum markets. Especially so in the short term. The industry has even stated as such.

"...they have very little control over it. Yes, policies and legislation can certainly play a role, but gas prices are largely dictated by oil prices and oil prices are dependent upon supply and demand. Presidential control is not as simple as what those posts suggest on social media."

I also noted that the Nord Stream 2 pipeline was predominantly constructed during Trump's term. It was finished last year during Biden's. A President could certainly enact sanctions against a country or entity in an attempt to influence an action, but a President can't force said country or entity to oblige. Russia obviously told Trump to go pound sand after he signed the 2019 sanctions, and kept on working on the pipeline.

I bet you would vote for biden again!!!! That's enough said right there...

Who are the alternatives? Biden wasn't my preferred candidate. Your apparent zeal for Trump certainly says a lot.

Quote my zeal for Trump! One sentence Ive posted.
Biden shut down pipelines and took away some drilling permits. Please explain the sudden and dramatic increase of fuel prices at the pump almost immediately after your Puppet God did that.

Trump at debates said there will be No lockdown. Biden said there will be lockdown. Today they say lockdown had no real effect on covid prevention ,but ruined the economy inflation and everything that goes with it. First day biden killed keystone pipeline put 11,000 out of work. No new oil fracking . Yah no effect what a idiot does to ruin the economy. One of many stupid things stupid signed first day. Like trump said ,if biden would not have done anything he would be doing great now. Now his polls are lowest of any, inflation highest ever ,economy sucks, giving all military equipment to taliban, yah real smart guy. Now we have more drugs coming in ,immigrants which you will support one way or another. How can you not understand this??? Today he give a speech trying to find a way to cut cancer in half. Really, how about covid idiot.

Trump hit the nail on the head. Supply and demand changed a lot due to the lockdown. Now that demand has increased steel prices have doubled and aluminum prices have quadrupled.

This inflation is right up the Democrats playbook. They want to make this a socialist country. That's because they want everyone in this country dependent on the Feral Government.

That's also part of the reason for them constantly working at taking down the 1st Amendment. CONTROL

I don't believe any government statistics and a lot of what I read. Liberal fact checking....WTF

Also, a big thank you to Joe and the democrats for not following our laws when it comes to the border. Can you imagine the riots that would be taking place if the last President has allowed this to happen????

The left against right insanity is getting so out of hand. Neil Young wants his music removed from Spotify if Joe Rogan isnt removed. Other 60's icons have joined in. I thought they were getting a bit nuts then it all went nuclear as Yoko Ono has declared if Joe Rogan isnt removed she will put her music on Spotify.
End the insanity

Increases in fuel prices are driven by increased demand and lack of supply, which is the inverse of why they dropped during 2020 - a sudden decrease in demand resulting in excess supply. Refiners halted production during 2020 since fuel wasn't being used. Production doesn't respond instantaneously; the supply chain has a lag.

Fuel prices increased about $0.60 from their 2020 low through the remainder of Trump's term. Why was that? They've risen about a $1 since then. Looking back further, they increased about $0.60 from when Trump took office in 2017 to when they peaked during his term. During Obama's second term prices were even lower than the were at the lowest during Trump's term. How do you explain that?

The Keystone XL pipeline was still years away from being operational. The land leases may have never become operational. Both were or would have been long-term projects and would have had no bearing on short-term petroleum supplies or prices. The Keystone XL pipeline wouldn't have even sold product to the domestic market.

The President doesn't have some lever at his desk to control the amount of crude produced or fuel refined, nor does the President have have a dial to change what the prices of each will be. You're blaming or crediting the President when you should be directing both toward the private sector.

To believe otherwise exhibits ignorance of how the petroleum industry works.

How does one kill jobs that don't exist? TC Energry, the company that owned the project even claimed its shuttering only affected current 1,000 jobs. The estimated jobs also would have been only 8,000, but those jobs would have been temporary and held by transient contractors, not permanently by guys like Joe Smith who lives in Cottonwood, SD with his wife and three kids. The jobs would have come and gone as the pipeline moved toward Nebraska.

Poll numbers? Sure, they're abysmal, but they're still not as low as the bar set by his predecessor. Trump's poll numbers were fake you say? Odd, considering they're using the same methodology today as they were during his term.

Inflation? Can you expound upon which specific Presidential policies have caused that? Can you explain what causes inflation?

Afghanistan? Yeah, that was a poorly executed debacle. Don't let yourself think Trump would have done any better; remember the agreement negotiated with the Taliban was done by his State Department and had an even earlier time-table for execution.

Drugs? Are you aware that the majority of drugs are trafficked through the designated ports of entry (not between them) and through the postal service? A lot more drugs can be shipped in a truck (or an airplane or on a boat, or through a tunnel) than on the back of a migrant. Interestingly, the Democrats called for increased spending for additional customs officers and scanning equipment to be located at those ports to improve the likelihood of detecting illicit drugs.

Cancer? You know diseases aren't cured by magic, right? It takes years of research and development activities to discover solutions. That little blue pill you take on Saturday nights didn't just randomly materialize on some desk at Pfizer one day. Biden wasn't the one who touted all sorts of ridiculous treatments for COVID.

Yes i had zeal for trump everytime i filled gas ,No empty shelves at stores, food prices not soaring , hearing gas and electric stable.

Did you know that fuel prices were higher during Trump's term than they were during the last 1.5 years of Obama's? Were you asleep through how shelves were in 2020? Do you actually understand why energy prices are increasing?

Ok, dude. You're delusional. Keep on believing the "facts" you read in forums like this one and that come out of Q-fueled echo chambers.

Delusional??? I listen to CNN once and a while, so maybe that's where I get it.

Does anyone actually not believe the liberals aren't controlling the narrative in this country? Come on, wake up.

"The price of steel has doubled and aluminum prices have quadrupled." This quote came from Pat, the owner of a contract fabrication plant here in town, Ideal Industries, who just told me that FACT yesterday. So he's a liar?

Delusional is ignoring that dimensia joe has opened the floodgates on our border and the delusional democrats are flying them all over my country. Worse yet, the Republicans, who are using being in the minority for an excuse, are setting on their hands.

As usual liberals come up with ZERO points about THE GREAT THINGS their side has done, only counter point negatives about the side on the RIGHT. It is easy to criticize when you do nothing..

Their president is not a leader and couldn't find his way home.....

That's why I don't understand why you guys let this person get your goat. He comes here just to argue and poke at you. A liberal will always deflect from any issue that questions anything that contradicts their beliefs.

Keep in mind.

You cannot debate feelings or opinions.

A liberal will not stick to all the facts. They will cherry pick ( like this individual ) small parts of the facts. And that is why you cannot EVER win with a liberal. Which is why I say it's impossible to have a civil conversation with a liberal, and most democrats.
