Wheel hop

There was an episode of Roadkill Garage where they were having violent wheel hop on a Cougar. They had Hotchkis suspension there and they fixed it with double adjustable shocks. I tried to find the episode, but it wasn't available to me at the moment.
What is this car going to be used for? Driving the living $hit out of it! 
How serious are you about making it plant? At the track it HAS to HOOK! but on the street I SURE as heck DON"T want it wheel hopping. My brother said I just need more POWER! 
I am working on that! Next chance I have I will be checking the drive shaft pinion angles. I have spare control arms I can re bush.
